Welcome to JoelWeb. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the JoelWeb website (the "Service") operated by JoelWeb ("us", "we", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
1. The Service
JoelWeb provides a user interface to access and search for high-quality, royalty-free stock photos ("Content") provided through the Pexels Application Programming Interface (API). All Content available through our Service is sourced directly from Pexels and is subject to the Pexels License. We do not host, own, or claim any rights to the Content.
2. Pexels License and Content Usage
All photos available on JoelWeb are licensed under the Pexels License. We encourage you to review the Pexels License in full. A summary of what is permitted and what is not permitted is provided below for convenience.
2.1. Permitted Uses (What you CAN do)
- All photos on JoelWeb can be used for free for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
- Attribution is not required. Giving credit to the photographer or Pexels is not necessary but always appreciated.
- You can modify the photos. Be creative and edit them as you see fit.
2.2. Prohibited Uses (What you CANNOT do)
- You cannot sell unaltered copies of a photo, e.g., as a poster, print, or on a physical product without adding any value.
- You cannot imply endorsement of your product by people or brands depicted in the imagery.
- You cannot redistribute or sell the photos on other stock photo or wallpaper platforms.
- Do not use Content for any unlawful, pornographic, defamatory, or immoral purposes.
- Identifiable people may not appear in a bad light or in a way that is offensive.
3. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. JoelWeb makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included therein. The Content is provided by Pexels, and we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or reliability.
While the Content is royalty-free, it may be subject to other intellectual property rights, such as trademark, publicity, or privacy rights. JoelWeb does not represent or warrant that any necessary licenses or releases have been obtained for any use of the Content.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall JoelWeb, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
